Marija is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Vilnius, Lithuania. Marija is a creator of ideas that comment on everyday situations and society in an absurdist and often witty way.
“I enjoy working with a variety of materials and processes, recontextualizing elements from existing everyday objects. I modify it in order to question their given meaning and give them new roles. I like to create new products that rediscover, explore and celebrate different attributes and aspects of the mundane.”
